Welcome to j0y.net (the “Site”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site, which is operated by j0y.net (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Purpose of the Site
The Site is a personal portfolio intended to demonstrate software development work. All content, projects, games, demos and tools are provided for demonstration and informational purposes only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. User Content
Some features, such as high score leaderboards, may let you submit a name, score or other information (“User Content”). You are responsible for any User Content you submit. You agree not to submit anything unlawful, offensive, infringing, or that impersonates another person. User Content such as names and scores may be displayed publicly. We may remove any User Content, reset scores, or restrict access at any time, for any reason, without notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Site for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to hack, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; (c) manipulate scores or exploit bugs; (d) use bots, scrapers or automated tools without permission; or (e) upload malware or harmful code.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site, including code, designs, text and graphics, is owned by j0y.net or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, redistribute or reuse content without written permission, except where a project is explicitly published under an open-source license, in which case that license governs.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site uses third-party services (such as Google Analytics) and may link to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, content, or their privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, FEATURES AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE IS SECURE, FREE OF VIRUSES OR BUGS, OR THAT ANY DATA (INCLUDING HIGH SCORES) WILL BE STORED, PRESERVED OR ACCURATE. YOU USE THE SITE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL J0Y.NET OR ITS OPERATOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ZERO U.S. DOLLARS ($0.00) OR, WHERE A ZERO CAP IS NOT PERMITTED, TEN U.S. DOLLARS ($10.00).

9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless j0y.net and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
10. Changes and Termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice or liability. We may update these Terms at any time; the “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which the operator of j0y.net resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that state, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
12. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and j0y.net regarding the Site. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
